Common questions
When should my puppy or kitten start vaccinations?
Usually from around 8 weeks of age, with a second vaccination a few weeks later. We’ll set out the exact schedule at the first visit.
When can my puppy go out for walks?
Your vet will tell you when it’s safe, based on the vaccine used. In the meantime, carry them out to see the world and meet people, as early socialisation matters.
My pet’s booster is overdue. What now?
Call us. Depending on how long it’s been, they may need a booster or a restart of the course.
Is microchipping a legal requirement?
Yes, for dogs. All dogs in Ireland must be microchipped and registered on an approved database.
